NWCC Community-Based Development Project

The Northwest Community Church (NWCC) in Cary, NC is a congregation creating a permanent home on a predominantly undeveloped 10 acre site in a rural/suburban part of the town. NWCC is committed to their local community and leveraging their land to create not only a new sanctuary, but also introducing space for community-oriented programming and public amenities. The building includes indoor worship space, flex workspace + offices, community gathering space, children’s program space, and outdoor worship areas. NWCC is also working with Haven to explore how a portion of the property may be utilized to increase housing options for under-served households in the area. Haven has provided master planning and architectural services with a focus on minimizing site impact and maximizing the natural environment while delivering high design with cost-efficient construction systems and materials.
